Montgomery County woman accused of trespassing at Trump's Mar-a-Lago

PALM BEACH, FLA — An East Norriton Township woman accused of trying to enter President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort was arrested over the weekend in Florida.

Adrienne Tajirian, 58, of the 2300 block of Rahway Avenue, was charged with trespassing in relation to the April 12 incident, according to court documents obtained by MediaNews Group.

Tajirian initially received a warning around 12:21 a.m. on April 12 “for attempting to enter Mar-a-Lago in an effort to speak with President Trump,” according to Palm Beach Police Officer Steven Quinn.

The area surrounding the resort, 1100 S. Ocean Blvd., is designated as a “security zone” while Trump’s on the premises, according to police. The designation includes barricades, cones, signage, and additional security from the U.S. Secret Service and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Tajirian was seen operating a 2015 Honda CRV around 10:19 p.m. in “an extended portion of the security zone” and was stopped at the “sweep tent” situated at 1170 S. Palm Beach Blvd. “attempting to enter Mar-a-Lago property,” according to an affidavit. Tajirian was then taken into custody for violating the trespassing warning and read her Miranda rights.

“Post Miranda, Tajirian admitted that she knew she was trespassed from the property, and advised that she came back to the property because she felt she was invited to have dinner with Donald Trump Jr.,” Quinn said in an affidavit.

Tajirian entered a not guilty plea during her April 13 court appearance where Judge Ashley Zuckerman issued a no contact order and set a $1,000 bond, according to court documents.
