Reading police are investigating a shooting in which two were wounded in the 400 block of South 16th Street, city officials said Saturday morning.
Officials said a 38-year-old male was transported from the scene to Reading Hospital and was in critical condition as of Saturday morning. A 24-year-old male suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was located in the 1300 block of Good Street after fleeing the scene.
Police have secured both locations, and there is no known ongoing threat to public safety from this incident, according to city officials.
