The top four seeds advanced to the semifinals of the Berks Field Hockey League playoffs with victories Monday.
In the quarterfinals, top-seeded Oley Valley beat eighth-seeded Conrad Weiser 8-0 at Oley, second-seeded Wilson beat seventh-seeded Gov. Mifflin 7-0 at West Lawn, third-seeded Berks Catholic beat sixth-seeded Wyomissing 6-1 at the Forino Sports Complex, and fourth-seeded Twin Valley beat fifth-seeded Daniel Boone 3-1 at Twin Valley.
In Wednesday’s semifinals at 7 p.m., the two-time defending champion Raiders will face the Lynx at Oley in a rematch of last year’s county final at 7 p.m., while the Saints will face the Bulldogs at West Lawn.
The final is Saturday at Alvernia University at 7 p.m.
For Berks II champion Oley (17-1-1), Olivia Thompson had two goals and an assist, Taylor Vaccaro had two goals, and Alexandra Lopez and Karlee Howard each had a goal and an assist. Morgan Snyder and Mia Woodard also scored for the Lynx, who outshot the Scouts 21-0 and had a 12-0 advantage in corners.
Natalie Biancone had 13 saves for Weiser (10-9).
For Berks I champion Wilson (17-1-1), Erika Culp had three goals and two assists, and Emma Staron and Mia Riccitelli each a goal and an assist. Ashlyn Rowe and Catherine Arentz also scored for the Bulldogs.
Wilson, which has won 17 straight county quarterfinal games, had a 16-3 shot advantage against Mifflin (9-9).
For Berks III champion Berks Catholic (17-2), Aubreigh Uba had three goals and an assist, Mallory Buzydlowski had two goals and an assist and Nancy Larkin had one goal and one assist.
Skylar Maggs scored a goal and Kaitlyn Brunner had 17 saves for Berks IV champion Wyomissing (14-5).
The Saints outshot the Spartans 23-4.
Twin Valley (12-7) earned its third victory this season over Daniel Boone (9-8).
