The following programs are coming up at the Orwigsburg Area Free Public Library, 216 W. Independence St.:
Valentine’s program
There will be a Valentine’s Day kids’ story and craft on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 4 p.m.
Storytime
Traditional preschool story time takes place Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Lapsit story time for birth to age 2 is on Thursdays at 10:30. Play K for 3-to 5-year-olds takes place Fridays at 11 a.m. and teaches kindergarten skills.
Chess Club
Chess Club meets the first Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. All skill levels welcome.
Raffle Calendar
There are 31 chances to win a prize in the March Raffle Calendar. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for five. Proceeds benefit the library.
Homeschool program
Homeschool Happenings will feature rocks and minerals on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month.
Book club
The book club meets Monday, Feb. 24, at 6 p.m. to discuss “I Never Said I Love You” by Sarah Magee.
Trivia Night
The next Trivia Night is Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 5:30 p.m. The category is famous movie quotes.
