Here are some of the outstanding performances by Berks athletes for the week of Nov. 4-Nov. 9.

Field hockey

Wilson junior Laura Crocona scored a goal as the Bulldogs fell to Conestoga 5-1 in a PIAA Class 3A first round game.

Football

Wilson junior Correll Akings rushed 19 times for 164 yards and three rushing touchdowns in the Bulldogs 28-3 win over Cedar Crest in the District 3 Class 6A quarterfinals.

Boys soccer

Conrad Weiser junior Abu Barrie scored two goals to lead the Scouts to a 2-0 victory over Franklin Regional in a PIAA Class 3A quarterfinal.

Girls soccer

Wyomissing senior Lili Marshall scored a goal as the Spartans fell to Allentown Central Catholic 2-1 in a PIAA Class 2A first round matchup.

Boys water polo

Wilson senior Jackson Williams scored nine goals in a 14-8 win over Souderton in a state quarterfinal.

Girls water polo

Wilson senior Neveah Houck scored two goals, had two assists and two steals in a 13-2 win over Wissahickon in a state quarterfinal. In a state semifinal, Houck scored four goals and had one assist and one steal in a 18-3 win over Upper Dublin. In the state championship, Houck scored four goals, had two assists and two steals to help lead the Bulldogs to a 13-9 win over North Penn.
