Pennsylvania State Police investigated 756 crashes that resulted in five deaths over the four-day Memorial Day weekend, both decreases from last year’s holiday period.
State police said they handled 849 crashes that resulted in six deaths during the 2024 holiday.
Troopers said DUI-related crashes were up this year over last year — 57 to 40 — as well as DUI arrests — 519 to 456.
