The pairings have been announced for the quarterfinals of the BCIAA girls soccer playoffs, which begin Saturday.
In the top half of the bracket, top-seeded Wilson (16-6-1), the Berks I champ, will host No. 8 Kutztown (13-5) at 11 a.m., and No. 4 Daniel Boone (13-5), the Berks II champ, will host No. 5 Exeter (11-6) at 3 p.m.
In the bottom half, second-seeded and defending champ Wyomissing (17-0), the Berks III champ, will host No. 7 Tulpehocken (12-4-2), the Berks IV champ, at 11 a.m., and No. 3 Gov. Mifflin (9-6) will host No. 6 Fleetwood (10-7) at 2 p.m.
Fleetwood, the Berks II runner-up, qualified through its regular season win over Berks I runner-up Exeter. Kutztown, the IV runner-up, qualified via its win over Berks III runner-up Hamburg. Exeter and Gov. Mifflin made the field based on power ratings.
The semifinals are Tuesday, Oct. 19. The final is Thursday, Oct. 21.
