PHOTOS – Fleetwood Santa Parade delivers holiday cheer

Santa arrived in Fleetwood Borough riding on top of a Fleetwood Volunteer Fire Company fire truck during the annual Tri Valley YMCA Santa Parade on Saturday, Dec. 10.

“We were honored to have the official Santa on our rig!” the fire company posted on its Facebook page, along with photos from the event.

The annual parade featured local fire companies, businesses and groups.

The previous night, the fire company escorted Santa to Fleetwood Park for the tree lighting event hosted by the Fleetwood Borough Recreation Board. The crowd gathered around the Christmas tree and sang carols. The event also included free hot choc and cookies, crafts by Fleetwood Area Public Library, and story time by Mrs. Claus.
