The following events are coming up at the Orwigsburg Free Public Library, 216 W. Independence St.:
A “Tugging On Our Heartstrings” adult craft event is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m. Sign up at the library
The next Trivia Night is Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 5:30 p.m. The category will be Marvel comics and related entertainment. All ages welcome. Prizes available.
The library is holding a free drawing to commemorate International Jigsaw Puzzle Day on Jan. 29. Pick up a puzzle and have fun.
The Orwigsburg Library Book Club meets Monday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. The book selection is “Gentlemen & Players” by Joanne Harris.
The library is holding a basket raffle for Valentine’s Day. Buy one chance for $1 or six for $5. Winner to be drawn Feb. 12.
The Chess Club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. All skill levels are welcome.
The Storytime and Play K programs are taking a break. Storytime resumes Feb. 7. Play K resumes Feb. 9.
Homeschool Happenings meets the second Wednesday of each month at 11 a.m. The Feb. 14 program will feature “love your library” activities.
