The following information is taken from police releases and court records.
Found Drugs: On Dec. 9 at about 10:30 a.m., state police at Schuylkill Haven received a report of drugs found on Suedberg Road in Pine Grove Township. The investigation is ongoing.
Crash: On Dec. 7 at about 7 p.m. state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to Route 125 in Hegins Township. Jennifer Fox, 43, Pitman, struck a downed tree in the road. Her car had disabling damage. Fox was not injured.
Theft: On Dec. 6 at about 12 a.m. state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to Weis Markets, 500 Pottsville Park Plaza in Norwegian Township for a retail theft. Someone stole approximately $190 in various grocery items. The person left in a 2008 Honda LTD Civic Del Sol.
Theft: On Dec. 2 at about 2:50 p.m. state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Route 61 South in North Manheim Township for a retail theft. Two women left the store without paying for several items. They were seen leaving the scene in a 2013 Toyota RAV4. Police are continuing their investigation.
Theft: Michael Brown, North Manheim Township, reported to state police at Schuylkill Haven that a catalytic converter that was delivered to his residence was removed from the warehouse packaging.
Theft: On Dec. 2 at about 12:30 p.m. state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to Manheim Road in North Manheim Township for a theft. Police determined the woman’s check was duplicated and $700 was withdrawn from her account.
Theft: On Nov. 27 state police at Schuylkill Haven received a report of items stolen from a Pine Grove woman’s vehicle. Among the items taken was a debit card. The person used it to make purchases at nearby service stations. The investigation is continuing.
Theft: On Nov. 27 at about 4:20 p.m. state police responded to Boscov’s at Fairlane Village Mall for a retail theft. Police arrested Jacob Fessler, 25, Orwigsburg, on charges that he took more than $200 worth of merchandise. Fessler was charged, and the case is pending court.
Crash: On Nov. 26 at about 6 p.m. state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to First Street at North Street in Port Carbon for an accident. Jaime Sheriff, 45, Port Carbon, failed to negotiate a left turn. Her car left the highway, traveled down the hill, and hit a dumpster on a parking lot. The car came to a stop on the concrete wall separating the road from the lot. The car was towed with disabling damage. There were no injuries.
Theft: On Nov. 22 at about 1:40 p.m., state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to Auction Time Bid Board in West Brunswick Township for a report of theft. More than $17,000 in cash was stolen. Investigation continues.
