The following information comes from police reports and court records.
Crash: On Dec. 15 at about 3 p.m., state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on Route 901, Gordon Nagle Trail in North Manheim Township. Anthony Tirado, 33, Pottsville, lost control of his SUV on the slippery road and struck a boulder. The vehicle spun before coming to a stop. There were no injuries.
Crash: On Dec. 15 at about 2 p.m., state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident along Route 61 in North Manheim Township. Adam Webber, 46, Pottsville, lost control of his vehicle in slippery conditions and struck a guide rail. Webber was not injured.
Crash: On Dec. 15 at about 10:20 a.m., state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on Route 183 in Wayne Township. Robert Bannon, 66, Auburn, lost control of his SUV due to slippery conditions. The SUV struck the guide rail before coming to a stop on the east shoulder. Bannon was not injured. It was towed due to disabling damage to the front of the vehicle.
Crash: State police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on Route 501, Bethel Road in Pine Grove Township on Dec. 15 at about 4:40 p.m., David Mullins, 63, Branch Dale, lost control of his vehicle on a patch of ice, hit a speed-limit sign and crashed into a tree. Mullins was not injured. His SUV was towed.
Crash: On Dec. 15 at about 2:30 p.m., state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on Sweet Arrow Lake Road in Washington Township. Vincent Shay Jr., 41, Schuylkill Haven was driving east of Kutz Road on Sweet Arrow Lake Road and lost control due to weather conditions. His pickup truck fell into a ditch. Shay was not injured. The pickup was towed.
Crash: State police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident at 7 Sajer Road in North Manheim Township on Dec. 6 at about 9:50 p.m. Gregory Semanchick, 54, Pottsville, lost control of his SUV. The SUV left the road, proceeded through the grass and struck the garage at a residence at 7 Sajer Road. Semanchick was transported to Lehigh Valley East. The SUV was towed
Crash: On Dec. 2 at about 6:15 p.m., state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on Route 61 and Raring Drive, Orwigsburg. Jerry Beaver, 58, Pitman, was driving behind Brad Jones, 45, West Lawn. Jones applied his brakes due to another vehicle making a turn. Beaver did not have enough time to stop and struck Jones’ SUV. Beaver’s car came to final rest in the northbound lane of Route 61 facing north and was towed. There were no injuries.
Crash: On Dec. 2 at about 1:50 p.m., state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident in front of 127 Kiehner Road in Wayne Township. Kim Bracey, 56, Pine Grove, lost control of her vehicle while trying to avoid a rock in the road. The car hit a stone wall then rolled on its passenger side. Bracey was not injured.
