A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Wernersville sold a Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $100,000 for the Monday drawing, lottery officials announced Tuesday.
Meanwhile the Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $1.09 billion, or $527.3 million cash, for Wednesday’s drawing.
The ticket sold at South Mountain Beer Distributing, 4104 Penn Ave., matched four of the five white balls drawn, 19-24-40-42-56, and the red Powerball 23. Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $50,000. The Power Play multiplier drawn was two.
The business that sold the ticket will earn a $500 bonus, according to lottery officials.
The Powerball jackpot has been rolling since it was last won on Jan. 1. That prize was worth $842.4 million.
The record jackpot was $2.04 billion in November 2022. The last time a Powerball jackpot was won in Pennsylvania was on Aug. 3, 2022, according to lottery officials.
