If you are living with diabetes or caring for someone who is, Reading Hospital’s Health Equity Team invites you to attend its upcoming Diabetes Focus Group session.
This group session will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 in Conference Center, Room 1, at the Reading Hospital, located at 420 S. 5th Ave. in West Reading. Parking is available, and light refreshments will be served. Registered participants will also receive a $25 gift card.
The focus group is an opportunity to share experiences, gain insights, and connect with others who understand your journey in a supportive environment. Participants will also share ideas, resources, and helpful tools for managing diabetes.
“We want to better understand the barriers our patients are dealing with that impact their overall health and well-being to learn how we can help,” said Juliet Simplicio, Supervisor of Health Equity in the hospital’s Community Wellness Department. “We understand that giving our community opportunities to achieve their full health potential starts with understanding the populations that we serve. To do that, we want to hear from you directly.”
