The Reading Royals fell to Adirondack on Friday night.
The Thunder defeated Reading 4-1 in Glens Falls, N.Y., in the first half of a home-and-home series. The two teams will face off again on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at Santander Arena.
The Royals have lost seven of their last 10 games. Their lone goal was scored by Thomas Ebbing in the third period.
Four players scored for Adirondack. The Thunder outshot Reading 46-27.
Royals goaltender Kirill Ustimenko recorded a career-high 42 saves. Adirondack’s final goal was scored on an empty net.
