RKL eSolutions LLC, a Lancaster-based business management software and IT/networking solutions provider has acquired Chortek LLP’s Sage practice. The acquisition will add an extensive range of product expertise, enhancing RKL eSolutions’ established Sage practice, the company said in a release.
The acquisition of the Wisconsin-based Chortek’s Sage practice was completed Jan. 1, and includes the firms Sage 100, Sage 50 and Sage BusinessWorks practice, which will complement RKL eSolutions’ Sage ERP and Sage CRM business software solutions.
In addition, Chortek’s 10-member Sage software consulting team — including practice leader Steve Krueger — will now be part of RKL eSolutions, bringing RKL eSolutions’ Sage practice to about 55 team members, according to the company.
“RKL eSolutions continues to grow and strengthen its Sage consulting team to assist growing companies in managing core business functions,” Joe Noll, president of RKL eSolutions, said in a statement. “For many years, we have built a strong and respected working relationship with Steve Krueger and his team. We are thrilled to welcome them as they join forces with our Sage practice, enhancing our collaborative journey even further.”
Krueger has more than 35 years of experience and expertise in ERP (enterprise resource planning) software, and specializes in manufacturing and distribution companies, assisting with system selection, Sage 100 review and recommendations, and consulting for Sage 100 and related products, according to the release. He has led Chortek’s Sage practice for the past nine years.
In a statement, Kruger said he is enthusiastic about the transition to RKL eSolutions, saying it ensures a continued commitment to delivering service and support to clients.
“I’m confident that this transition will not only maintain but elevate the level of expertise and dedication our clients have come to expect,” he said in the statement.
RKL eSolutions said clients transitioning from Chortek will benefit from expanded support options and access to RKL eSolution’s portfolio of process automation solutions, which include document management, accounts payable, accounts receivable and tax management.
In addition, RKL eSolutions specializes in enterprise performance management solutions for budgeting, planning and business intelligence to ensure clients are able to maximize efficiency and grow strategically, according to the release.
According to Mark Albrecht, managing partner at Chortek, the decision to transition the company’s Sage Software consulting practice to RKL eSolutions was made with the best interests of Chortek’s clients in mind.
“We are confident RKL eSolutions will provide our Sage clients with continued excellence in service and support, enhanced expertise and expanded resources,” he said in the statement. “This transition allows us to focus even more deeply on our core strengths while ensuring our clients’ needs are met with the highest standards of expertise and care.”
Founded in 2001, RKL eSolutions — a sister company of Lancaster-based RKL LLP — is a Sage provider, and offers business software technical support and networking solutions for clients across the country. The company serves clients primarily in the entertainment, software, professional services, manufacturing and nonprofit sectors, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not released.
Chortek LLP, headquartered in Waukesha, Wis. is a professional services firm providing accounting, auditing, and tax compliance services, value-driven technology solutions, and tailored merger and acquisition services.
