Route 724 in Cumru closed Tuesday night due to snapped telephone pole

Route 724, also known as Philadelphia Avenue, was closed Tuesday night between Deerfield Drive and Route 10 in Cumru Township due to a telephone pole that snapped and is leaning into traffic, according to Berks County emergency officials.
