Run benefits veterans programs at Reading nonprofit

More than 200 people took part in Hope Rescue Mission’s annual Patriot 5K Run Saturday morning at Gring’s Mill Recreation Area in Spring Township. The event was held to honor and support homeless veterans, with proceeds benefiting programs and services provided by the Reading mission for those who served in the U.S. military.
