A protest planned outside the Schuylkill County Courthouse has been moved to 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday because of the threat of rain on Friday.
It was organized by the two mothers who are frustrated over what they say is a lack of progress in the investigation of their sons’ slayings in October.
Hunter Mock, 18, and Angelito Xavier Caraballo, 16, were found Oct. 10 in a wooded former mining area known as “The Sanchez” about a mile east of New Philadelphia.
Kate Mock, Hunter’s mother, said, “We are coming as a peaceful protest to get action.”
Tanya Evans, Caraballo’s mother, urges people to share information with authorities.
