Two local holiday meal initiatives have come together to create an even stronger impact this Thanksgiving season. The Gourmand/JPrutzman Enterprises team and Berks Deals & Steals each launched their own independent Thanksgiving meal donation programs the week of Nov. 10. By Friday, Nov. 14, both organizations had reached full capacity — a powerful reflection of the community’s generosity.
Recognizing the continued need, the two groups formally joined forces to launch an expanded, ongoing initiative. On Saturday, Nov. 15, Shillington Grocery Outlet joined the effort, further amplifying the reach and resources available to local families.
To continue meeting community demand, Gourmand, JPrutzman Enterprises, and Berks Deals & Steals are now collectively accepting $189.99 donations through Friday, Nov. 21. Each contribution will provide a $200 Shillington Grocery Outlet gift card, along with gift cards from Gourmand Café and Berks Deals & Steals, ensuring families receive meaningful support not just for Thanksgiving, but beyond.
