Lebanon Valley College: Raegan Laszczyk, Tower City, one of three students who co-authored published research with their professor. Dr. Valbona Hoxha, published “TBI and Tau Loss of Function Both Affect and Naive Ethanol Sensitivity in Drosophila.” The paper investigates the effects that ethanol has on traumatic brain injury. Laszczyk, a graduate of Williams Valley High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in biology at LVC.
Unpaid Internship Scholarships
Kutztown University: Taylor Szczecina, Orwigsburg; Brynn Gigli, New Ringgold. This scholarship assists with financial needs (i.e., transportation, food). Students must have a 3.0 or higher GPA and submit an application, essay and a letter of recommendation.
