South Schuylkill News College Notes, May 16, 2024


East Stroudsburg University: Kaylee King, Tremont, M.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology; Bailee Kupper, Auburn, B.S. in Psychology; Kimberly Pastucka, New Ringgold, B.S. in Special and Early Child Education; Leah Pishock, Schuylkill Haven, B.S. in Business Management; Olivia Tokonitz, Pottsville, B.S. in Exercise Science; Nayelly Trinidad-Castro, Pottsville, B.A. in Spanish.

Indiana University of Pennsylvania: Amanda Kehler, Pitman, maintained a perfect 4.0 with a general studies/interior design major. She received the Sutton Scholarship, the Ready to Succeed Scholarship, the Board of Governors Scholarship, the Cook Achievement Fund and the Gratz Fair Scholarship. She is a graduate of Tri-Valley High School.

Alvernia University: Emily Adams, Pottsville, recognized as Students Against Destructive Decisions president; Karis Howell, of Schuylkill Haven, recognized as the newly inducted Pi Theta Epsilon president.

Lebanon Valley College: Valerie Bildheiser, Schuylkill Haven, Outstanding First-Year Resident Assistant of the Year, Mund Scholarship and Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs David V. Rudd Award.  Zachary Morrow, Orwigsburg, Undergraduate Award in Organic Chemistry from the American Chemical Society, Division of Organic Chemistry. Kaitlyn Ruhl, Schuylkill Haven, June E. Herr Scholarship for Elementary Education. Emily Sausser, Schuylkill Haven, Francis H. Wilson Memorial Biology Award.

Albright College: Alyssa Zerbe, Pine Grove, presented a senior thesis and earned recognition for her academic performance. The art and psychology major  earned the Gold A Award, the David A. Caramanica Endowed Memorial Award, the Muhlenberg Goodwill Prize, and the Thomas H. Gerstley Memorial Award. Alyssa has been named a Jacob Albright Scholar.
