Student Athletes
Albright College: Students competing as members of the Lions’ NCAA Division III varsity indoor track team this winter are Michael Maley, Pottsville; Murphy McCabe, Orwigsburg.
Theater
Albright College: Murphy McCabe, Orwigsburg, travelled to the Kennedy Center American College Theater Region II Festival in Pittsburgh, this January, to participate in dozens of workshops, keynote speeches, invited productions, and theatre design, technology and management competitions. McCabe is studying game and simulation development.
Lebanon Valley College: Valerie Bildheiser, Schuylkill Haven, is participating in Wig and Buckle Theater Company’s upcoming production of “Romeo and Juliet.” Bildheiser is part of the crew. The show runs Feb. 16-18. Bildheiser, a graduate of Schuylkill Haven Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration and marketing.
