South Schuylkill News Police Reports, Feb . 13

The following information comes from police reports and court records.

Crash: On Jan. 26 at about 11:45, state police responded to an accident in Wayne Township. Edward Henninger, 61, Schuylkill Haven, pulled out of his driveway on Route 443, and collided with a vehicle driven by Kurt Kovalovich, 64, Pine Grove. Kovalovich’s vehicle flipped twice and had to be towed. There were no injuries.

Crash: On Jan. 23 at about 11:15 a.m., state police responded to an accident in North Manheim Township. Robin Zweizig, 62, Schuylkill Haven, ran the traffic light at the intersection of Route 61 and Mount Carbon Arch Road and hit a vehicle driven by Bruce Blankenhorn, 58, Cressona. Zweizig was not injured, Blankenhorn had minor injuries but refused treatment. Both vehicles were towed.

Crash: On Jan. 20 at about 6:30 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Rausch Creek Road south of Route 209. Amanda Sharples, 39, Schuylkill Haven, lost control negotiating a curve and struck an embankment. Sharples was not injured. Her SUV had disabling damage.
