State police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man they said has broken into vending machines at coin laundries in Berks County.
The latest theft occurred at Shoey Laundry, 522 Reber St., in Shoemakersville, on June 9.

According to troopers at the Hamburg station:
The suspect drove there in an older-model Ford Explorer with a handicap parking placard hanging from the rearview mirror.
He opened a snack machine and removed about $100.

Investigators believe the same person is responsible for similar vending machine thefts at Die Wascherei in Hamburg, Black to White Laundry in Wernersville and Robesonia Laundry.
Anyone who can help identify the suspect, shown in security camera images, is asked to call state police at Hamburg at 610-562-6885.
