State police offering child passenger safety seat checks at Reading station

State police will host free child passenger safety seat inspections at the Reading station at 600 Kenhorst Blvd. starting today.

Certified inspectors will be available to ensure the seats are installed correctly. The program is funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Click It or Ticket program.

The schedule is as follow:

Today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nov. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

No appointment is necessary. Anyone with questions is asked to call Trooper David Beohm at 610-378-4036.
