Subzero temps recorded in Berks for 1st time in 6 years

The temperature dipped below zero in Berks County today for the first time in six years.

The temperature was minus 7 at Reading Regional Airport, the official weather recording station for Berks.

Most Berks schools imposed a two-hour delay due to the low temperatures. A cold weather advisory remains in effect for Berks until noon today.
