From The Pointe at Douglassville and DESCCO Design & Construction
The Pointe at Douglassville officially opened following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, bringing luxury apartments and commercial spaces to the growing Amity Township community.
Property owner Don Fister transformed the former Ben Franklin Inn site into a modern 15-unit mixed-use development after two and a half years of planning. The eco-friendly building features solar panels providing 70% of the facility’s electricity and backup power capabilities for uninterrupted service during outages.
The luxury apartments include full-size washers and dryers, modern kitchens with premium appliances, and generous closet space. Commercial tenants include Aura Salon and Mini Spa, Thrivent Financial, Reading Coffee Company, and Tower Direct. Reading Coffee Company has opened their second location at the facility, featuring expertly roasted coffees and local artisan goods.
Located on Route 422 with over 40,000 vehicles passing daily, the development offers exceptional visibility and direct access to Route 724.
“I want businesses that add value to the building and the community,” said Fister. “This project brings sustainable living and business opportunities to Douglassville.”
The Pointe at Douglassville combines sustainable design with luxury amenities and prime commercial opportunities in one premier location.
