Tulpehocken finished sixth in the PIAA Class 2A team golf championships Wednesday at Penn State’s White Course.
The Trojans top four scorers combined to shoot 44-over 332 to finish one stroke behind fifth-place Grove City.
Devon Prep won the title, topping the six-team field with a 13-over 301. Belle Vernon was second at 306.
Zach Neuin shot 2-over 74 to lead Tulpehocken, and was followed by Zach Crampton (80), Lewis Dieffenbach (88) and Marshal Wessner (90).
The tournament brings an end to a highly successful season for the Trojans, who won their first District 3 championship and qualified for states for the first time.
Tulpehocken ended Wilson’s 80-match league winning streak in August, then won just the program’s second division title.
After winning districts, the Trojans defeated District 5 champ Conemaugh Township in a Class 2A sub-regional to qualify for states.
