The Berks County sheriff’s department is seeking the following fugitives:
Wanted in Berks
• John Shehan, 62, whose last known address was in the first block of South Third Street, Reading, is wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
On Aug. 19 Reading police filed charges against Shehan, who has a lifetime Megan’s Law registration requirement due to a 2003 rape conviction. He has not reported his location or contact information to state police since April.
He described as 5 feet 10 inches and 175 pounds.
• Jennifer Wilson, 41, whose last known address was in Lancaster, is wanted on charges of washing vehicle titles and felony retail theft and a probation violation.
Detectives in the Berks County district attorney’s office said she applied for a motor vehicle title certificate using false information and fraudulent documents on Dec. 14, 2022. Charges were filed in October 2024. Wilson is also wanted in Exeter Township on felony retail theft charges as well as a probation violation.
She is described as 5 feet 6 inches and 140 pounds.
