The Berks County sheriff’s office is seeking the following fugitives:
• Isaiah Perez, 18, whose last known address was in the 200 block of West Douglass Street, Reading, is wanted on strangulation charges.
Police stated that on June 1, Perez was at the victim’s residence in Reading when they got into an argument. Perez grabbed the female victim by the throat for about two minutes. The victim could not breathe and attempted to scream for help. Perez then pushed the victim’s face into the couch and dragged her by the hair into the kitchen. When the victim attempted to fight back, Perez punched her in the face. The victim’s mother came downstairs, and the defendant fled out the rear of the residence.
He is described as 5 feet 6 inches and 150 pounds.
• Sylvion Desameau, 24, whose last known address was in Philadelphia, is wanted on aggravated assault, fleeing to elude an officer and escape charges.
Police stated that on June 7, Desameau was driving in Reading when he was stopped by police. He drove off and nearly hit an officer with his vehicle. Police began a pursuit, but eventually called it off. It was later discovered that the defendant was wanted on a warrant out of New Castle County, Del..
He is described as 6 feet 1 inch and 200 pounds.
