The Berks County sheriff’s office is seeking the following fugitives:
• Steven Savini, 25, whose last known address was in the 100 block of South Street, Tilden Township, is wanted on fleeing to elude a police officer, reckless driving, and driving under suspended license charges.
Police stated that on May 14, Savini was operating a motorcycle without a license plate in Hamburg. When a borough police officer activated his emergency lights and sirens to stop Savini, he fled at a high rate of speed. Police followed Savini until he drove onto the center median and passed vehicles. During this pursuit Savini’s hat fell off, and police recovered it as evidence. The hat was tested and matched Savini’s DNA profile. Charges were filed by Hamburg police on Feb. 12.
He is described as 6 feet and 240 pounds.
• John White, 32, whose last known address was in the 100 block of East Main Street, Kutztown, is wanted on contempt for violation of a protection from abuse order charges.
Police stated that on Jan. 6, White violated a court order by contacting a person who sought protection from him. Charges were filed on Jan. 6 by Kutztown police.
He is described as 5 feet 10 inches and 210 pounds.
