The Berks County sheriff’s office is seeking the following fugitives:
Brittany Berger, 35, whose last known address was in the 2400 block of Heilmandale Road, Fredericksburg, is wanted on charges of access device fraud, identity theft and forgery.
Caernarvon Township police said Berger took seven checks inside envelopes from the victim’s mailbox at her business Feb. 17. They said Berger altered the checks and cashed one of them for $1,663 at an unknown bank in Philadelphia. Berger was identified by surveillance footage and police filed charges Feb. 28.
She is described as 5 feet 4 inches and 160 pounds.
Cole Rehrig, 35, whose last known address was in the 15000 block of Kutztown Road, Kutztown, is wanted on a bench warrant and a domestic relations warrant.
Police said a bench warrant was issued Jan. 21 for Rehrig’s failure to comply with probation and parole following his conviction on a strangulation charge. He is also wanted for failure to pay child support.
He is described as 5 feet 7 inches and 180 pounds.
