The Berks County sheriff’s department is seeking the following fugitives:
Matthew Smith, 44, whose last known address was in the 900 block of South Seventh Street, Philadelphia, is wanted on a bench warrant obtained on Dec. 3, 2021, for Smith’s failure to comply with probation and parole requirements following a robbery conviction.
He is described as 5 feet 8 inches and 160 pounds.
Juan Melo, 55, whose last known address was in the 1900 block of Oregon Pike, Lancaster, is wanted on a May 6, 2022, bench warrant for failing to appear for a hearing on rape, aggravated indecent assault of a child, statutory sexual assault and indecent assault charges. Melo is also wanted on a DUI warrant in Lebanon County.
He is described as 5 feet 7 inches and 150 pounds.
