Gov. Mifflin

Who to watch: All-Berks Alex Wodehouse, Ben Velez, Nick Kaszmetskie, Nathan Reigel, Jayden Colon, Kasey Higgins, Griffin Sborz, Jacob Troy, Braden Weise, Owen Ziolkowski, Grant Deloretta, Tyler Binasiewicz, Charles Shuker, Sajiv Sivajanarthan, Nikolas Flemming.
Outlook: The Mustangs lost a large group of seniors and will look to have some younger swimmers step up to remain competitive in the league, district, and state.
Exeter
Coach: Ashley Rosa, fifth season, 17-14.
Last season: 5-2 CPL, 6-2.
PIAA classification: Class 3A.
Who to watch: Kaiden Hughes, Aiden Boehm, Connor Stoltzfus, Jonah Matteo, Joshua Griffith, Alex Popa.
Outlook: The Eagles are rebuilding after a strong senior class graduated, and are looking forward to a season of growth and improvement.
Muhlenberg
Coach: Todd Eisenhofer, 12th season, 59-45.
Last season: 4-3 CPL, 4-6.
PIAA classification: Class 3A.
Who to watch: All-Berks Brady Robidas, Cameron Burr, Alex Kissinger, Jerrion Newton, Logan Detwiler, Raymond Dunsky, Beckum Greth, David Veciunca, Finn Adamski, Logan Allen, Gavin Charicata, Noah Djevharian, Mason Fink, Ryan Kissinger.
Outlook: The Muhls have a mix of experience and younger talent. New swimmers should help fill lanes for dual meets, while the experienced swimmers provide hope for some postseason success.
Schuylkill Valley
Coach: Kyle Campbell, 10th season, 27-56-1.
Last season: 3-4 CPL, 3-6.
PIAA classification: Class 2A.
Who to watch: All-Berks Owen Eisenhofer, Hunter Moyer, Gabe Martin, Ben Bitting, Bret Edwards, Jack Gambler, Dom Leone, Nico Solvino, Aidan Lawson, Luke Clark, Zach Tinsman, Greyson Dennis, Andrew Mask, Reese Waldrop, Trent Wargo
Outlook: The Panthers look forward to a more competitive season with a dedicated group of older swimmers and a strong group of young swimmers.
Reading High
Coach: Matt Lubas, 16th season, 70-78.
Last season: 2-5 CPL, 5-5.
PIAA classification: Class 3A.
Who to watch: Trey Stricker, Matthew Kerchner, Collin Gilbert, Brock Shrawder, Dalton Rodgers, Blake Readinger, Liam Trupp, Cameron Shipe, Deury Rubio, Ahmir Brown, Jey Gonzlez, Carlin Zielinski, Leo Thompson, Isaias Lopez.
Outlook: The Red Knights return the majority of last season’s team and are excited to have divers competing for the first time in several years. Looking to improve throughout the season.
Daniel Boone
Coach: Amy Demberger, third season, 2-12.
Last season: 1-6 CPL, 1-6.
PIAA classification: Class 2A.
Who to watch: Matt Ferenz, Tyler Ferenz, Austin Snavely, Ettore Miotti.
Outlook: The Blazers had two swimmers — Matt Ferenz and Tyler Ferenz qualify for states last season — and will look to improve.
Twin Valley
Coach: Tasha Gallagher and Karen North, first season.
Last season: 0-7 CPL, 0-7.
PIAA classification: Class 2A.
Who to watch: Nolan Cromwell, Dallas Baldwin, Lawson Myers.
Outlook: The Raiders are a small team that is looking forward to new personal-best times.
Note: The BCIAA approved the addition of boys and girls swimming and diving as varsity high school sports in March, bringing an end to the Central Penn League (at least in name).
