Exeter

Outlook: The Eagles will look to compete at the top of the league.
Gov. Mifflin
Coach: Shana Matz, second season
Last season: 5-2 CPL, 7-3.
PIAA classification: Class 3A.
Who to watch: Sara DeLoretta, Emma Friedlander, Hailey Webster, Mackenzie Caron, Kaylee Cipolla, Nadia Medianick, Mikayla Seymour, Mackenzie Coyle, Gabriella Gentile, Kenlee Gollub, Haley Minnich, Maddie French, Rachel Sobkowiak, Evie Steckiel, Addison Alexander, Mackenzie Dietrich, Camryn Caron, Kendall Carroll, Addie Johnson.
Outlook: The Mustangs return a solid group with district and state experience. They are looking to improve upon last year’s success within a tough BCIAA league and qualify more individuals and relays far into the postseason.
Muhlenberg
Coach: Todd Eisenhofer, 12th season, 61-43.
Last season: 4-3 CPL, 6-4.
PIAA classification: Class 3A.
Who to watch: Stephanie Althouse, Kenna Follweiler, Rachael Hess, Karlie LaFaver, Hailey Schmeck, Erin Smith, Leia Wolf, MaKayla Yellets, Katie Greth, Kiranda Kilyk, Cassadie Shirk, Liz Waters, Carissa Wood.
Outlook: The Muhls lost some strong swimmers to graduation, but also return many experienced swimmers. The focus is on end-of-the-season success.
Schuylkill Valley
Coach: Kyle Campbell, 10th season, 59-27.
Last season: 3-4 CPL, 4-5; District 3 Class 2A champion.
PIAA classification: Class 2A.
Who to watch: Jenna Kirby, Annie Gao, Leiland Wiznewski, Nya Solvino, Charlotte Wallace, Lexi Seymour, Mabel Walborn, Hayley Huntsinger, Kayla Konetsky, Ashleigh Mask, Carly Crills, Angela Lesher, Cerina Readinger, Charleigh Lawson, Macy Lord, Rileigh Martin.
Outlook: The Panthers graduated a strong senior class, and look forward to being competitive in the league, District 3 in the state with a lot of new faces.
Reading High
Coach: Matt Lubas, 16th season, 62-86.
Last season: 2-5 CPL, 3-7.
PIAA classification: Class 3A.
Who to watch: Marianna Ott, Nylah Hayes, Maddie Klinger, Regan McClure, Helen Ott, Krystal Rosado, Jueilianna Camacho, Niyah Morales.
Outlook: The Red Knights have a small team hoping to meet personal goals and have a few qualifiers for districts.
Twin Valley
Coach: Tasha Gallagher and Karen North, first season.
Last season: 1-6 CPL, 1-6.
PIAA classification: Class 3A.
Who to watch: Susannah North, Erin Cromwell, Shea Nugent, Brynn Gallagher, Abby North.
Outlook: The Raiders have a group of experienced swimmers who are working hard to improve.
Daniel Boone
Coach: Amy Demberger, third season.
Last season: 0-7 CPL, 0-7.
PIAA classification: Class 3A.
Who to watch: Shailla Mejia.
Outlook: The Blazers, who have a returning state qualifier in Mejia, will look to improve this season.
Note: The BCIAA approved the addition of boys and girls swimming and diving as varsity high school sports in March, bringing an end to the Central Penn League (at least in name).
