Safaya Elkhyati of Wilson won her third straight girls title and Carter Sweigart of Gov. Mifflin his first at the Central Penn League Diving Championships Saturday at Wilson’s Roy G. Snyder Natatorium.
Elkhyati, a senior, finished with an 11-dive score of 460.95. Gov. Mifflin’s Karyn Creelman was second at 384.55 and Wilson’s Maddie Wilczynski third at 382.85. The three finished in the same order last season.
In the boys, Sweigart, a senior who was the runner-up last year and as a freshman, finished with a score of 512.00. Gov. Mifflin’s Alex Wodenhouse was second at 409.30 and Wilson’s Jackson Williams was third at 373.30.
