Zuber Realty Gears Up to Celebrate the Christmas Season

from Zuber Realty

Save the dates! Agents and staff of Richard A. Zuber Realty enjoy the Christmas season, and the beginning of the fall season means that the organization’s Community Outreach Committee has begun its planning of the annual events and opportunities to celebrate it.

Toys for Tots:

Agent Lee Heffner announces that beginning on Thursday, Nov. 7, barrels are available to collect toys at the agency’s corporate office in Boyertown (201 E. Philadelphia Ave.) and its satellite office in Royersford (384 N. Lewis Road, Royersford). Monetary donations are also welcomed through 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8. Toys and donations will be delivered to the Boyertown Salvation Army to distribute to the area’s children.

Holiday Light Tour:

This increasingly popular event is a “must-see”—literally! For the sixth year, Zuber Realty invites homeowners within a 10-mile radius of Boyertown to add to the festivities of the season by decorating their homes and registering to be part of the Holiday Light Tour.

Registration to be a home on the tour began on Saturday, Nov. 2, and will run through Friday, Nov. 22. The tour will begin on Friday, Dec. 6, and will run through Tuesday, Dec. 31. (Registration form available on zuberrealty.com/lighttour).

Prizes are awarded for each category including “Grand Prize-Your Favorite”: $100. “True Meaning of Christmas,” “Kids’ Choice,” “Best Use of Technology” and “Lucky Winner” are each awarded $50. Votes will be counted on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, and prizes will be announced on the Zuber Realty website: zuberrealty.com/lighttour. (Prizes will be available for pick up at the corporate office until Friday, Jan. 10, 2025.)

This year, Boyertown’s downtown businesses are invited to light up the town and become part of the tour. As the community gathers to light the Unity Tree as a “kick-off” to the season, Boyertown’s businesses will welcome revelers.

Unity Tree Lighting:

The Unity Tree Lighting takes place on Friday, Dec. 6, beginning with caroling at 6 p.m. and the lighting at 7 p.m. An added attraction this year is fire baton twirlers doing a dance routine, along with regulars, Funky Frets Uke Fest. In addition, Santa will be there for picture taking.

Chillin’ on Main:

Zuber Realty participates each year along with retail businesses and organizations in Building a Better Boyertown’s festival to welcome Santa to the community. Look for us at Chillin’ on Main on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., to meet the agents and staff, enjoy some holiday cheer, and pick up or photograph a map listing the homes on the Holiday Light Tour that begins that evening.

Santa Celebration:

Agent Lee Heffner announces that Santa and The Grinch are scheduled to visit with children and their families on Sunday, Dec. 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Zuber Realty office, 201 E. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, offering children an opportunity to share their Wish List and take home gifts of cookies, a coloring book, and crayons.
