$1 million winning Powerball ticket sold in Reading

A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Reading sold a Powerball ticket worth $1 million in Saturday’s drawing.

The ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 12-13-33-50-52, but not the red Powerball 23, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.

Officials said Paulino’s Deli & Grocery, 555 N. Ninth St, will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are unknown until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back.

Players may visit palottery.com for more information about filing a claim.
