The skies filled with bright colors and many varieties of kites for the 31st annual Go Fly a Kite! Day on April 28 at the Youth Recreation Facility in Bern Township.

Volunteers Keep Hamburg Beautiful, clean up 28 bags of trash and recycling

Keep Hamburg Beautiful, an annual volunteer event organized by the Our Town Foundation of Hamburg, drew 47 individuals to do their part in keeping the small Berks County town clean on April 28.

OTF organizer Lori LaPearl said volunteers gathered 21 bags of trash and another seven of recyclables.
