Offense

QB Xander Menapace, Hamburg, Sr.

Completed 63.5% of his passes (151-for-238) for 1,833 yards and 16 touchdowns with four interceptions. Also ran for 597 yards and 14 touchdowns on 109 carries.

RB Cam Jones, Wilson, Sr.

Wilson's Cam Jones (BRIAN SMITH ??

Offensive Back of the Year and Player of the Year ran for 999 yards and 20 TDs on 113 carries (8.8 yards per carry) and had 18 catches for 239 yards and one touchdown.

RB Gio Cavanna, Muhlenberg, Sr.

Ran for 1,004 yards and 12 touchdowns on 137 carries (7.3 yards per carry), becoming the first Muhl to rush for 1,000 yards since 2013. Also had 12 catches for 171 yards.

RB Dominic Giuffre, Schuylkill Valley, Jr.

Ran for 1,546 yards and 27 touchdowns on 191 carries (8.1 yards per carry) and had 15 catches for 281 yards and three TDs.

Athlete Joey Schlaffer, Exeter, Sr.

Three-time selection and a tight end signee to Penn State made 39 catches for 888 yards and 11 touchdowns. Also had 264 yards rushing and three TDs, including a 91-yard run, on 16 carries. In addition, saw time at quarterback, completing 4-of-7 passes for 116 yards and one touchdown with one interception.

WR Ruben Rodriguez, Reading High, Sr.

The Receiver of the Year finished with 52 catches for 933 yards and 12 touchdowns.

WR Edison Case, Wilson, Jr.

Finished with 25 catches for 490 yards and five touchdowns.

TE Zach Zandier, Exeter, Jr.

First-year starter at tight end had 25 catches for 443 yards and four touchdowns. As a blocker helped a running game that averaged 6.6 yards per carry.

C Damien O’Brien, Gov. Mifflin, Sr.

Graded out at 81%, but his season was cut short by a broken fibula suffered in Week 9.

G J’ven Williams, Wyomissing, Sr.

The Offensive Lineman of the Year, a repeat selection who is headed to Penn State, excelled and helped the Spartans average 330.1 rushing yards and 396.1 total yards per game.

G Lucas Palange, Exeter, Sr.

The repeat selection helped the Eagles average 229.8 rushing yards and 359.5 total yards per game.

T Anthony Caccese, Exeter, Sr.

Helped the Eagles average 37 points per game on their way to the Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 title.

T Jack Dendall, Wilson, Jr.

Helped the Bulldogs average 6.5 yards per carry and 199.5 yards rushing per game and finish 8-3.

KR Cam Jones, Wilson, Sr.

Returned just six punts, but five of them went for touchdowns, with a long of 94 yards. Averaged 59.7 yards per return. Also returned six kickoffs for 107 yards (17.8 average).

K Adam Noll, Conrad Weiser, Sr.

Repeat selection made 17-of-18 PATs and went 6-for-11 on field goals, including making one from 46 yards.

Defense

LB Lucas Palange, Exeter, Sr.

Linebacker of the Year had a team-leading 85 total tackles, including 11 for loss and two sacks. Also had one interception, one pass defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

LB Matthew Kramer, Wyomissing, Sr.

Finished with 37 tackles, including two sacks, and a fumble recovery. Also blocked an extra point that proved crucial in the Spartans’ PIAA Class 2A quarterfinal win over Danville.

LB Landon Farrell, Wilson, Sr.

Had 49 tackles, including eight for loss and one sack, one pass broken up and one forced fumble.

LB Ryan Souder, Daniel Boone, Sr.

Finished with 89 tackles, including 3.5 for loss.

DL Kyle Lash, Exeter, Sr.

Defensive Lineman of the Year finished with 67 tackles, including 20 for loss and 4.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery.

DL Nick Weitzel, Wilson, Sr.

Finished with 44 tackles, including 10.5 for loss and a team-high 4.5 sacks. Also had two passes broken up, one forced fumble and blocked one kick.

DL Mykell Ford, Gov. Mifflin, So.

Had 58 tackles, including 12 for loss and 2.5 sacks. Also had one tipped pass.

DL Caleb Brewer, Wyomissing, Jr.

Finished with 31 tackles, including a sack, and a forced fumble.

DB Cam Jones, Wilson, Sr.

Teams rarely threw in the direction of the Defensive Back of the Year and Player of the Year. A repeat selection, he finished with 26 tackles and five passes broken up.

DB Josiah Jordan, Berks Catholic, Sr.

Repeat selection had 51 tackles, six interceptions and blocked a field goal.

DB Amier Burdine, Reading High, Sr.

Played at corner and both safety spots and had 40 tackles, including five for loss, three forced fumbles, nine passes broken up and one interception.

DB Drew Eisenhower, Wyomissing, Sr.

Had 37 tackles, including one sack, and four interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown.

P Adam Noll, Conrad Weiser, Sr.

Averaged 39.1 yards on 34 punts.

Bob Wolfrum, Wyomissing, coach

Led the Spartans to a 13-1 record, the Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 4 title, a fourth straight District 3 Class 3A championship and a berth in the PIAA Class 3A semifinals.
