From City of Reading
The Reading Fire Department will host its annual Toy Drive Breakfast on Friday, Dec. 19, at 7 a.m., at Trooper Thorns located at 451 Morgantown Road, Reading.
This year’s Toy Drive is held in memory of retired Reading firefighter Keith “Sarge” Eschleman, whose dedication to the community and the holiday season continues to inspire this treasured tradition.
Community members are invited to enjoy a free breakfast with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy. All toys collected will be distributed to the Salvation Army of Reading to support families in need this holiday season.
In addition to toy donations, official Toy Drive shirts and hoodies are available for purchase, with 100% of proceeds used to purchase additional toys for local children. Merchandise can be purchased online at stores.weikelsportswear.com/toydrive25/shop/home.
This event continues to bring together first responders, families, and neighbors to ensure every child in Reading feels the joy of the holidays.
