For the 2025 scholarship contest, UECU is offering a $3,000 scholarship to students in Pennsylvania. Through a partnership with the Pennsylvania American Consumer Council (PACC), students who live or attend school in Pennsylvania can join the credit union and apply for the scholarship.
Students who will be attending college or a technical/trade school in the fall of 2025 can join the credit union online at uecu.org/join and submit a scholarship application at uecu.org/scholarship. Scholarship applicants have an opportunity to grow their money skills with UECU’s virtual-based financial wellness program, Visa Practical Money Skills. Applicants can choose from an array of financial topics, including Building Healthy Financial Habits, How to Use a Checking Account, How to Use Credit Cards Responsibly, Buying a Car, and many more.
In addition to the scholarship program, UECU also offers families affordable borrowing options for private student loans through the Credit Union Student Choice loan program. Families benefit from affordable rates, flexible repayment terms, educational resources, and one-on-one application assistance and counseling.
