Reading police are investigating a pair of weekend shootings that wounded a total of four men.
According to police:
In the first incident, officers were dispatched Sunday about 2:40 a.m. to the 100 block of North Ninth Street for a report of a shooting.
They found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his legs. The victim was transported by ambulance to Reading Hospital.
Investigators determined the shooting happened during a fight outside a bar in the 200 block of North Ninth.
A description of the shooter was unavailable.
Shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 600 block of Thorn Street for a fight in progress. They found a large group of people fleeing the block.
Police found a man with a gunshot wound to the wrist. He was taken to Reading Hospital by ambulance.
A short time later one man showed up at Reading Hospital and another at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Investigators determined all three victims were shot while inside a residence when an unknown person fired multiple shots into the rear of the home.
A description of the shooter was unavailable.
