The West Reading Craft Pretzel & Beer Fest is the only festival that features our area’s founding crafts, pretzels and beer! The 2025 festival will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The 7th annual festival is free and open to the public and features live music starting at noon from The Youngers, Cody Tyler, Benjamin Vo Blues Band, and Busker Incognito & The SHOW.

Officials will be shutting down the 500-700 blocks of Penn Avenue in West Reading to create a pedestrian-friendly corridor. Over 80 West Reading businesses and local vendors will line the Avenue, offering a variety of pretzel-themed merchandise, snacks, and pretzel-inspired dishes in celebration of this annual event and National Pretzel Day, celebrated the day prior. You can pay as you go for food and drinks or partake in a ticketed tasting, sampling our region’s best locally made pretzels and beer.

Ticketed tasters sample up to 40 regional and home-brews and choose their favorite home brewer to win a tap takeover at Oakbrook Brewing in Reading! VIP ticket holders get early access to the tasting starting at noon. VIP and general admission tasting tickets are limited and can be found at visitwestreading.org.

All proceeds go to support the West Reading Community Revitalization Foundation (WRCRF), a non-profit 501(c)3 that is dedicated to the revitalization and growth of West Reading. The nonprofit thanks event sponsors, Customers Bank and PA Beer Alliance, for their support. Come support our region’s bounty and celebrate National Pretzel Day!
