Author appearance, health program at Orwigsburg library

Author Robin Luftig will be hosting the Orwigsburg Area Free Public Book Club Meeting on Monday, Oct. 23, at 5:30 p.m.

All are welcome for this event, which includes a meet and greet and lively discussion.

The library is located at 216 W. Independence St.

Health discussion

A discussion on lipedema, lymphedema and peripheral edema is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 16, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Orwigsburg Free Public Library.

Christine Bruce and Pamela Conroy of Geisinger St. Luke’s will discuss identification and treatment of these conditions and what is new with therapy for burns and how to get help.
