BCIAA baseball champions since 2004; Gov. Mifflin has the most titles

The Berks County Interscholastic Athletic Association baseball playoffs get underway Thursday with Gov. Mifflin the defending champion after beating Wilson 6-3 in last year’s title game.

Since 2004, Gov. Mifflin has the most titles with 8.

The eight teams unofficially in the field this year are: Gov. Mifflin, Twin Valley, Wilson, Muhlenberg, Fleetwood, Berks Catholic, Oley Valley and Kutztown.

Here’s a list of champions since 2004.

2023 — Gov. Mifflin 6, Wilson 3.

2022 — Muhlenberg 11, Oley Valley 3.

2021 — Gov. Mifflin 5, Wilson 4.

2020 — Season canceled.

2019 — Wilson def. Hamburg.

2018 — Muhlenberg def. Fleetwood.

2017 — Wilson def. Twin Valley.

2016 — Gov. Mifflin def. Exeter.

2015 — Gov. Mifflin def. Daniel Boone.

2014 — Reading def. Berks Catholic.

2013 — Oley Valley def. Kutztown, 5-3.

2012 — Fleetwood def. Gov. Mifflin, 12-6.

2011 — Gov. Mifflin def. Twin Valley.

2010 — Conrad Weiser def. Twin Valley.

2009 — Gov. Mifflin def. Oley Valley.

2008 — Gov. Mifflin def. Schuylkill Valley.

2007 — Wilson played Holy Name.

2006 —  Wilson def. Gov. Mifflin.

2005 — Wilson def. Exeter.

2004 — Gov. Mifflin def. Wilson.
