Winning pitcher Kam Martin struck out seven in 6 1/3 innings as the Exeter Eagles defeated Twin Valley 3-2 in a high school baseball game on Wednesday.
Martin gave up both runs, but just one was earned and he allowed just seven hits. Liam Porter got the last two outs for the save.
For the Eagles (8-2, 3-2), Jake Hafer (2 hits) and Chase Youse drove in runs.
For Twin Valley (5-2, 2-1), Logan Crunk and Luke Wagner drove in runs.
Hamburg 10, Brandywine Heights 0
Winning pitcher Ty Shuey struck out 12 and allowed just three hits as Hamburg defeated Brandywine Heights 10-0 in five innings on Wednesday.
Ricky Clark went 1 for 2 with 2 RBI for the Hawks (7-4, 4-1), Aaron Rodriguez went 2 for 2 with a double and 2 runs scored and Ethan Horvath went 2 for 3 with an RBI. Shuey went 1 for 3 with an RBI.
Aiden Nace went 2 for 2 for the Bullets (2-6, 0-3).
Oley Valley 5, Wyomissing 4
Winning pitcher Timmy Fries went 2 for 5 with 2 RBI as Oley Valley defeated Wyomissing 5-4 in nine innings on Wednesday.
Fries took over on the mound in the fifth inning when starting pitcher Chase Kegerise hit the 100-pitch limit.
Fries, who doubled and tripled in the game, struck out 10 and didn’t allow a hit in 4 1/3 innings.
Kegerise struck out 6 in giving up the four runs.
Oley Valley is 7-2, 3-1; Wyomissing is 5-3, 2-2.
Wilson 6, Daniel Boone 0
Ben Kulp struck out 9, walked 2 and allowed just 2 hits over 6 innings to lead Wilson to a 6-0 victory over Daniel Boone on Wednesday.
Kulp also drove in a pair of runs and Ryan Marmolejos had two hits for Wilson (6-2, 3-1).
For Daniel Boone (3-8, 1-3), Greyson Bell struck out 9, walked two, and allowed 4 hits and 3 earned runs in 5 innings.
Fleetwood 7, Muhlenberg 4
Nick Noll went 2 for 4 with 2 runs batted in as Fleetwood defeated Muhlenberg 7-4 on Wednesday.
Brayden Sobjak, Cane Cromer and Darrin Gorman, the first three batters for the Tigers, each scored 2 runs. Wylie Loy had 2 hits and an RBI for the Tigers (7-2, 2-1).
For the Muhls (4-4, 1-4), Cameron Burr went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI.
Reading High 9, Conrad Weiser 6
The Red Knights scored three runs in the top of the seventh to break a 6-6 tie for a 9-6 win over Conrad Weiser on Wednesday.
Janser Paredes was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored for Reading (3-7, 1-5).
Paredes was also the winning pitcher, going 4 2/3 innings in relief, striking out 3, allowing 3 earned runs and 3 hits.
Reading leadoff hitter Frandy Ruiz went 2 for 4 with an RBI and run scored.
For the Scouts (1-6, 0-1), Brody Morgan was 1 for 3 with 2 RBI.
