Josiah Jordan scored 21 points, including the 1,000th of his career, to help Berks Catholic defeat Conrad Weiser 62-36 in a Berks Conference Division II game Monday at Wolf Gymnasium.
Jordan, a senior point guard who came in needing 20 points to reach the milestone, scored nine points in the first quarter as the Saints (5-0, 12-0) jumped to a 15-7 lead against the Scouts (0-4, 3-8).
He scored eight in the second and four in the third, including a short jumper to hit the milestone. He has 1,001 career points.

Jordan is a returning All-Berks pick who is averaging 15.8 points per game.
Also Monday, Ryan Koch scored 16 points for the Saints and Kingston McKoy as well as Jaxson Geddio each had seven points for Berks Catholic.
The Saints return to action on Friday when they travel to Laureldale to take on Muhlenberg.
