Berks County Commissioner Michael Rivera has been elected president of the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania for 2024.

Association members elected their officers during their 137th Annual Conference and Trade Show at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center this week, officials said in a release Wednesday.
Rivera was elected as a county commissioner in 2019. His term with the association begins Jan. 1.
The association also named former Berks Chief Administrative Officer Ronald Seaman as the chief clerk/administrator of the year. Seaman was named to the county post in 2016 and retired this year.
