from Penn State Extension Berks County
The Berks County 4-H Program will hold an Open House for potential 4-H members and volunteers to attend and learn more about our 4-H programs on Saturday, Oct. 12. The open house will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the North Campus Activity Center, 1206 County Welfare Road, Leesport.
There will be 4-H members, 4-H volunteers, and parents at the open house to talk to potential members and volunteers about our 4-H programs and how they can join. If someone can’t make it on Saturday, Oct. 12, they can contact the Berks County 4-H Office at 610-378-1327 or berksext@psu.edu.
The 4-H program is open to youth between the ages of 5-18 to join. Our 4-H program focuses on youth and life skills development through hands-on learning.
Administered in Pennsylvania by Penn State Extension, 4-H is a community of more than six million young people across America learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. Penn State Extension 4-H youth development educators in all 67 counties throughout the Commonwealth administer local 4-H programs through nonformal education and outreach. To find your local program, visit the Penn State Extension website at extension.psu.edu/4-H.
